Kids these day.  Arizona Cardinal running back, J.J. Arrington makes the list of alleged criminals today for  getting picked by up the Rocky Mount, NC fuzz for brawling in a club.  Not only was Arrington arrested for disorderly conduct, but he also got cited for contempt of court.  Welcome to the declining side of your career, J.J.  You earn the dunce cap and the corner.  We see this as a pimple on the ass that is the blight that is the NFL criminal pattern (read it again, it makes sense…sort of).  J.J’s days were possibly numbered in Arizona as it was, but this arrest most likely seals his fate.  We’ll miss you J.J., unless of course we happen to be craving some McNuggets next time we cruise through Rocky Mount.

Overwrought and overweight radio personality, Mark Madden, has been given the old heave ho by ESPN brass. Madden, broadcasting on ESPN 1250, sealed his own fate by making the following comment:

“I’m very disappointed to hear that Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts is near death because of a brain tumor. I always hoped Senator Kennedy would live long enough to be assassinated.”

Seems 2008 is not a good year for Kennedy assassination quips– (see Clinton, Hillary and Madden, Mark). We at SMcS are torn on the issue.  Stuffing a permanent crap sandwich in Madden’s gaping maw = good.  The continued censorship and knee-jerk reacting by corporate media sock puppets over pedestrian issues and comments = bad.  Janet’s big ol’ flabby boob can be directly linked to the dismissal of Pittsburgh’s big ol’ flabby boob.
